If you're like me, you get tons of credit card offers in the mail. Many with those, “just cash these checks to sign up” checks. I hate those. I just came across a nifty number that allows you to opt out of this “service“. Let's hope it works. 1-888-OPTOUT

Correction: The number is: 1-888-5-OPTOUT (1-888-567-8688). I was wondering why no one had left a thank you comment. Thanks Dave.

I meant to comment on Becky's achievement. Very nice! If you remember, I got my black belt in Tae Kwon Do when I was sixteen. Since then, I've really been wanting to explore the Kung Fu thing. How long did it take Becky to get her black? I want to say three years. Did she really enjoy it? Do you have to train with weapons?

Umm, is there a number missing after the 1-888, or is it a joke that I'm not getting?

Anyway, relating to getting mad at credit card offers, Jen and I have started doing this. Every time we receive a credit card offer, we take the postage paid envelope and stuff it with this letter:

I know that it takes a little more time to make print out the letter (we've made a few copies) and stuff envelopes and mail them, but it's also rather satisfying.
